A 2-day seminar was recently organized by Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) for their first ever National Interior Design Week held at CW Home Depot Events Hall – Makati. The celebration aims to develop the professional capabilities and to redefine the practices of interior designers. Some 170 interior designers convened to attend the conference which was one of the many highlights of the week-long celebration.

Themed “Gearing Towards the Global Market”, the conference’s objective is to prepare Filipino interior designers for the globalization. Distinguished speakers shared their proficiency on various topics to name some: Marketing Filipino Interior Designers, Cross Border Practice on Design, Multi-Media and Design Tools Presentation, Fire Safety in Interior Design, Personal Financial Management, Different Firms, Right Security System and Home
Theater Design.
The event was graced by PIID’s National
President, IDr. Rogelio Caringal and his executive officers who all shared inspiring messages to their members.
