Fun run is so much fun when you do it with your family and friends. CW Home Depot participated in Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines Fun Run last June 7, 2015 which was held at Ateneo De Manila University. Approximately almost 400 people joined the said event, and the bigger part of the runners came from CW Home Depot.
The Fun Run started at 6:30 AM with a prayer came from one of the board of trustee’s couple, Mr . Sabas and Mrs. Yolly. Participants joined the zumba-like warm up and enjoyed the exercises prepared. The fun run started with 1 kilometer runners which included senior citizens and kids. Next is the 5 kilometers run and 3 kilometers run, where most of our employees joined. Fortunately, most of the winners and runner ups came from CW Home Depot.
The MEFP fun run is not just about reaching the finish line, but also gives us opportunity to build sportsmanship and camaraderie towards other families and other people. It portrays that the family that runs together, stays healthy and happy as well.
