CW Home Depot, one of the leading retail stores of quality building, finishing, and furnishing materials in the country, has recently conducted an outreach program in Bahay Kanlungan sa Pasig last March 15, 2024. This is one of annual corporate social responsibility activities of the company that aims extend help to the less fortunate children and individuals.
The remarkable event was attended by at least 100 children of the facility and some 25 volunteer- employees of CW Home Depot who prepared a special program including exciting games, performances and magic show for the kids.
The Kanlungan sa Pasig is considered a haven for individuals who are in crisis as it provides a safe space for healing and recovery for children in conflict with the law (CICL), children at risk, teen mothers, victims of violence against women and children (VAWC), victims of LGBTQIA violence, and the abandoned elderly.
This event is CW Home Depot's way of giving back to the community by holding it annually to share its blessings and time with people in most need. Present during the outreach program were CW Home Depot volunteer- employees together with Bahay Kanlungan sa Pasig’s Center Head – Ms. Angge Ancheta.
