CW HOME DEPOT RENOVATES THE HABITAT PASIG 1 MULTI-PURPOSE CENTER IN PINAGBUHATAN, PASIG CITY

CW Home Depot, one the leading building, finishing and furnishing stores in the country recently helped renovate a multi-purpose center in Pasig City in partnership with the Habitat for Humanity, Philippines.

As part of CW Home Depot’s 20th founding anniversary celebration, the company has prepared 1-day immersion- volunteer program for its employee to help renovate a multi-purpose facility in a community in the Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

This renovation program was the second corporate social responsibility program that has been carried out by CW Home Depot in line with its milestone anniversary. The volunteer- employees helped with the repainting of the facility’s walls, the renovation of the bathroom, and have installed new electrical and lighting fixtures in the center.

Habitat for Humanity Philippines is a non-profit organization that builds sustainable communities by providing affordable and decent homes for the less privileged and by partnering with various sectors for holistic community development.

The immersion program was spearheaded by the Habitat for Humanity Philippines direct marketing officer - Ms. Charmaine Macatangay; donor management officer - Ms. Catalina Serrano and CW Home Depot's corporate communications and events manager - Mrs. Ana Flores-Bermudez; interior design unit manager - Ms. Nina Cello Nicolas and admin group head - Mrs. Marjorie Pantas.
